Needing to source heater and dash components

I have a 1979 jeep cj-7, I'm wondering what models of jeeps I can source heater parts, mine is completely missing in mine. I have knobs but they are connected to nothing. Are all cj cables and heaters the same? What can I get to fit? Any help would be great!

That would be great if I was looking for new parts. I know that it is very unlikely I will be able to get this part done with out some new parts but I'm not able to spend that much for new parts.

You could use the link to see which years share part numbers for the pieces you need... That would answer your question.

I'm pretty sure you are going to be looking for parts for 76-86 CJ's. I can't imagine many other Jeep models will have heater parts that would interchange.
