I'm amazed its not

I watched it as a kid and remembered it being cool but I watch the first contestants and could not watch anymore.

I've never even seen as much as a commercial for the new one, yet I know that it's lame.

Less commercials, hotter women gladiators, more in shape competitors, less stupid dialogue from Hulk and Ali and it would be better. That being said, I was a big fan of the original and I will probably continue watching this one. There is something wrong when a 150lb asian guy calls out 250lb+ meatheads. It was pretty funny. He did end up winning the round.

The industry is struggling with the writers strke and has to put something on. This is an option.

everytime the commercials came on, i'd get more stoked for this show.. i watched about 5 minutes of it and found something on KUED that was better time spent..
