New care taker of the RME Jeep

I figured I would take a little time to introduce myself since I just bought Greg’s Jeep. I grew up in southern Arizona and still have most of my family there. Most of my off road experience is in sand rails and pre-runner type vehicles. Since moving back east I have had a growing interest in rock buggies. I am now engineer living in New York and building 3000 mega Watt hydrogen fuel cells for commercial base station power systems. A lot of our wheeling is done at Rausch Creek, PA which is mostly loose rock, big trees and mud.

Greg has been fantastic throughout the transaction and I kind of feel like I have taken his first born from him and ran to the other side of the country. I have some lofty ideas for the Jeep. Who knows maybe it will be back in Greg’s hand some time.

I wanted to give myself a place to do a picture diary of the changes I make with the Jeep and I figured this would be the best place to do it because so many of you know it already. I am going to start a thread in the “Members Rides” section to document the things I do.

Stay tuned for more.

Welcome, but don't make too many changes. When you have a rig that just "works" it's usually something not to be messed with. Many rigs have bitchin parts, but not every rig with bitchin parts actually works.

Welcome aboard. Sorry to hear you have wheel in the east. I'd make a monster truck out of it and jump busses.

I'm about an hour from Rausch Creek in south east pa. I'll keep an eye out for it, would love to see it in person.

You're job seems interesting, I work at a hydro plant on the susquehanna river. Our output is only 417megs though. A drop in the bucket compared to 3k.

I will be at Raush Creek the 21-22 of this month for the SIRA monthly run. Maybe we will see you out there! I'll keep everyone updated on how the Jeep does.
Thanks again for all the welcomes.
