New CB antenna: Wilson 500 or 1k

So, I will be getting truck shell soon and will need to re-due my cb mounting option. I am pretty sure I want a wilson magnetic one but done know if its worth/necessary to get the more expensive wilson 1k over the 500.

Any thought/ideas or other options?
