Hey all. I just signed up on the board. I have a '87 (some parts '93) Jeep Cherokee. All stock except the gear ratio and the lift, which is a 5 1/2" Rubicon.

I wish I had some good picks of my jeeps, but it seems that I'm the only person in my group that goes 4x4ing that knows how to use a camera :rofl:

I'm excited that the Easter Jeep Safari is getting closer. Gives me a change to ogle over other Jeeps and the drivers without anyone giving me any grief :p

A lady never tells her age. But a hint ... I'm old enough to be legal and young enough to enjoy the finer things in life. And for those of you who know me .... keep your mouth shut! ;) Relationship Status ... well yes I'm married, but I'm not dead! Etc... hmmm ... what else you wanna know? I like jewlery, size 7 ring if anyone is buying :D I like FMP's, size 8 1/2, at least 5" black. :D I need some more babydoll tanks for the EJS, large. If you want to know what I look like just look at my profile. I need some new front finders for my Jeep and someone who know how to put them on. :D What other details you want? :cool:

I went from the stock 307 to 456. Low enough to crawl well, but high enough to go on the freeway.

Other mods done to the jeep. I took out the closed loop cooling system and put in a open one after I took the Jeep on it's madain voyage from Ogden to Provo ... I didn't make it, sunk like the Titanic.

I also took out the vac disconnect system for the front axle and just welded it locked in. I like having that instant 4x4 when I pull my t-case into 4L :cool:

My front bumper and roof rack are home made. Last year I cracked a weld on the bumper going across the crack. I slammed it hard. :-\

The Jeep stats:
'87 body (going to girlie it out this summer with new paint and interior)
'93 straight 6 4.0L w/ open loop cooling system
5.5" Rubicon Express XJLA Extreme Duty with long arms
Dana 30 front (open)
Dana 44 rear (open)
NP231 T-case with tail shaft short kit (might add 4:1 kit in future)
AX-5 Tranny (I think ... haven't paid too much attention to it yet since I'm waiting for it to give up the ghost to put something else in)

I only have 31" tires under her right now, I have to mod a few things before bigger is ever put on.

LOL, not a jeep fan :) Would it make you feel better to know in my garage is a 'In Process' project of putting unimog axles under a '77 chev truck.

Oh the things we do when we get bored :rofl:

oh, i've got no problems with jeeps. i'v actually owned four of them at one time or another. just like to be different, and give people a hard time. that and toys rule.
