How's it goin! My names Ian Schwartz, I was born and raised in Santa Rosa, CA (Northern california). Grew up shooting, hunting, and fishing all throughout the Mendocino national forest. When I started searching for colleges, the Nutnfancy channel on youtube drew me to look at Utah. I found Westminster and fell in love with the place-plus the Army ROTC unit they share with the U is top notch. I started college back in the beginning of August, now that things have settled a bit I'm looking to get out and do some shooting and offroading in the west desert. I've got a TRD-Offroad Tacoma that I haven't taken offroad too much yet, so I'm lookin forward to it.

Welcome! I moved here from SoCal myself, 8 years ago, but not a Cali native. I always tell people California was where I lived, not who I am. NorCal people are different, some like you into hunting and such, the rest, well... Enjoy Utah for what is. NOT California...

Welcome! What kind of firearms do you have? I'm always looking for some people to go shooting/wheeling with.

Thanks for all the replies, everyone! Cool to find a neat community. I've got a Mini-14, a VEPR (AK in 7.62x54r), and a precision rifle in 7.62x54r I'm working on plus a GP-100 .357 and Glock 19. Picking up a steel target this week so I can start shooting long range!

Oh nice! I was actually looking at the VEPR since you can get some of that 54r ammo for cheap as hell. How do ya like?
