Well, once again, Craig Stumph and the Desert dogs have outdone themselves. Awesome trail, lots of carnage. Let me see if I have it all...
1 broken axle (Linda & Todd Adams - D30 Pside)
1 broken knuckle (name unknown, drove a brown Early bronco buggy - D44, D side)
1 bent drag link (Your's truly)
1 broken tranny (case I think....I Lean - oh yeah, did he lean!!)
1 punctured oil pan (first obstacle - Craig himself)
1 snapped bolt on adapter to tranny (Darrell - white YJ, member of Park City Packrats - caused quite I leak I hear)
1 broken driveshaft yoke (CJ-7 rear. Gary don't remember his last name, but he is a regular as a judge @ UROC events)
LOTS of body damage, and more would have occurred had the EB not broken on the toughest obstacle causing the rest of the group to bypass while he repaired)
Not too much different in length from constrictor, but some nice obstacles. Once I get my new draglink and a spare set of axle shafts, I would like to go out and look at it again. Does not require a winch to exit the trail, although the last obstacle gave the buggies a run.
great time, but a long day for me. I was up at 345am to be at Jubilee by 8am. Got to hit the sack. Hopefully some of the others who ran it will chime in.
I saw Harkinoff (body damage), WayneXJ (body damage), Bobdog (His CJ performed flawlessly as far as I could tell), and some other folks that are probably members of the board out there.
Thanks to all who helped me straighten out my drag link enough to drive out to my trailer/tow rig. I think Harkinoff was one of them....
