Hey, this is Jer from SLC, aka Beerman.

I heard about this place from a good frined named Keith L from Durango Colorado.
Funny, a guy from CO. tells a SLC guy about a Utah forum!! LOL

Well here is my long list of boring data:

Ride: 96 Ford Bronco, 351W/E4OD/BW1356

Stuff & Stuff:
I am in the process of completing a straight axle swap to a Dana 44HD from a 1978 F250 3/4 ton pickup.
Good axle and has 1/2" thick tubes (Same as 60's) so i should have pretty good luck with it. (If I ever strike it rich I will use Warn shafts & CTM's then it should be pretty bullet proof).

I just bought 4.88 Yukon gears for it today off ebay.

It will be a leaf sprung swap, and if anyone knows Keith L you know why I am swapping into leafs.

I will be using 15x8 Steelies with 37x12.5x15 MTR's. I am using my own paint design on the rims. Probably a hammered gray/silver mix coated in zinc.

Powertrax No slip in rear (Or Aussie still deciding)

Superior axle shafts in 8.8

ARB or OX in the front (When I win the lottery)

Like I said it is all in teh works right now.
If you want to see more pics, or see my full size pig then go to my superford page here:
My Superford page

OK, now on to my first question, does anyone on this forum live in SLC that can install gears?
Please PM me if you know, or if you are interested so we can chat.
Thank you.

Thank you Greg.
I swear up and down that I looked for a intro portion of this forum but didnt see it.
DUH..
I know it bugs people out, I am a member on www.fullsizebronco.com and we get that there sometimes too.

I just emailed Andy to see what he would say.
Another friend told me that Andy is the man, but I never had a way of getting in touch with him.

I am not even close to being done yet. I still have some work to do, but believe me when its done you all will get plenty of pictures. :D

welcome...where'd you get your name form? My buddy used to own a beer store up in Holladay that was called The Beerman...:p

Yup, no more MBB.
Its all about FSB now. :D

I got the name because I am a beer aficionado.
I drink a lot of local brewery beers including some that friends home brew.
I am a big fan of Murphy's Irish stout, Guiness Stout, Killians Irish Red, Blue Moon, and Cranberry Lambic.
When I am in Colorado I prefer Ten pin porter, Durango Dark Lager, and Steamworks strong ale.

Good stuff. I am not an alcoholic by any means but i can drink beer any time of the day including breakfast, and it is by far my favorite drink.

Whenever I eat at the porcupine on teh mouth of Big Cottonwood canyon I always have Blue Moon beer with breakfast. I get wierd looks too.
Nothing goes better with scrambled eggs and bacon than beer IMHO.

I am also a huge fan of coffee. Again strong bold flavored coffees just like my strong flavored beers. MMMMMM

I will be hanging out here as well as my first home on FSB.
I cant wait to get into heated debates about which is better than this or that, and why full size rigs, are better than jeeps :ugh: :p :D
