New in town, looking to meet some locals to wheel with

I just moved to town about 6 months ago for work. I am currently living up in Clinton, Ut and moved from South Houston, TX. As i'm sure you know, Texas wheeling is not the best. The Hill Country (Hidden Falls, Katemcy Rock) has some fun times but nothing on this scale. Needless to say, this is a whole new world to me and need some help finding some good trails and meeting some local people to go with. Hoping to make it to Moab for the first time memorial day weekend. I am really looking to find some good long trails that i can camp on and some that i can hit just over a weekend. Any help would be appreciated! I hope to run into some of you guys out there.

Welcome! Great looking rigs! I LOVE early Broncos! There are plenty of places around here that are long and Mild. The more extreme long trails are down south. Keep an eye on the upcoming trips and you can hook up with people that are headed out.

Welcome, love your rigs. Like Greg said you'll fit right in here. I'm in Clearfield but will probably be out of a wheeling rig here soon.

Where's Steve and the other Bronco guys? They'll likely have a strong showing on Mem. day weekend at Old School Rock Crawl in Delta. Good be a good destination for you on Mem. day weekend as well. :D

Welcome, btw....(and I'm a Jeep guy and I still like early Broncos :D)

Welcome! Quite a bit of people will be down in Moab over Memorial. Same with Delta for the Old School Rock Crawl.

In the past, people looking for a group to join on a trail would meet at the City Market parking lot in Moab. I'm not sure if this is still a thing or if there's a new spot or not. Also - check out Moab Friends-For-Wheelin and maybe get in contact about joining one of their rides next week if they have any open rides.

Love the EB's. Nice set of rigs.

I know somebody you'd probably like to play with! I'm a little biased though. The Utah Bronco Club is pretty active, as a matter of fact we just put on Bronco Safari in Moab a couple weeks ago. Those are some sweet rides!

If you make it to Moab, hit up Tara too. She works at the Blue Pig and is always up for a wheeling adventure. She might ignore her other customers once she gets talking wheeling and Broncos though.

"Delta" is where the Old School Rock Crawl is. One of the funnest events of the year! There's a whole section dedicated to it here http://www.rme4x4.com/forumdisplay.php?80-Old-School-Rock-Crawling-event , you'll also see it referred to as OSRC.
