New longfields???

How many of you Toyota guys are running Longfields? Has anybody bought any recently? Has anybody heard about the new Longfield that is out or coming out? I read something about it on Pirate4x4 today. So does anybody know what was changed? I guess i have the old longsfields now :ugh: . I could'nt find the changes on the pirate board..

The new ones are supposed to be stronger, have no ring welded on the end of the Birf (More turning radius, if you dare,) and are completely brand new parts.

I have a set of old ones, but my rig hasn't needed them since it's been down.

gotta get that rig out on the trails. So i guess those are the only ones offered now. I thought the ring helped with strength? But what do i know.

yup just like Greg said, no ring so better turn radius, also the balls and cage are not only new but treated as well for strength. I haven't needed new ones yet as my original ones haven't broken yet. I think its the best mod you can do to a Toyota front end outside of a locker!

I have a set of the 30* longs. I broke both old ones in a tragic wheeling senario LOL

Ollie has twisted the balls up in one long. I saw it. Grooved the grooves :D I know they were reasonably new..

Crud, the new longs and the allpro ones just went on sale for $80 a piece! I ordered some up.

not sure... but I'm pretty bummed about the whole situation. I have no desire to deal with anyone else there. For whatever it's worth, they'll know of our concerns later this week. I'm gonna talk to Kurt about his plans tomorrow as well.
