Got Rocks 4x4 was up at the RMR today taking more pics of the progress. Obstacles 3 and 4 are basically done and they look killer. The gunite goes on quick. Obstacle 1 is a beast! Check out our website in about 20 minutes to see the updated pics.

I was out there today too. The course looks awesome. The climb up number one is ridiculous. The only thing that looks nastier is the drop down it!

I felt the surface of one of the finished obstacles. It is very rough, and tractiony (yes, I said tractiony), but when you rub it with your hand it kinda crumbles, kinda like granite. I'm concerned that tires are going to crumble the concrete away, and as it does the little peices will act like bearings beneath our tires. I guess we'll have to just wait and see. Can't wait!

As far as I have heard they are planning on bringing bleachers and seating directly on the drag strip.

i am not sure about that. The drag strip is a very valuable piece of property, not likely to just set a set a bleachers on it. I do know that they are getting bleachers, just not sure where they are going. It might end up they do put it on the strip and just put wood under it. They might also be on the other side of the strip. Won't really know until it happens I guess.
