New to site, still a little new to crawling!

Hi, my name is Kevin. I've lived in Utah my entire life I've mostly been into the muscle car scene and just recently was able to really get into the offroad scene. I drive a 2001 Toyota Tacoma with 6" lift and 33's, nothing special really just my daily driver. I just started working on my 1980 Gmc K1500. I've made custom leaf spring packs with longer shocks, removed the bed and shortened the frame for a flatbed and roll cage... I don't really know where to start to make a great crawler, so any suggests are welcome and appreciated.

Welcome Kevin, i'm a Toyota guy so I don't have a lot of info for ya, but I can say gears and lockers are going to be at the top of your list. There are several guys here on the board that are Chevy guys that will get you going in the right direction... good luck and don't forget to take pictures along the way.
