new

Hi I have been to this site a few times and decided to register. I live in Ogden and have a 98 TJ I bought last year. I would like to make it a little more trail worthy and ride better if that is possible. It came with a lift, I think 4 in. 33 in tires. I like to work on my cars, run and bike.

Welcome, this is a very newbie friendly site with loads of information available. Best thing I can tell you is search a lot. Most if not all of the questions you will have, have been answered.

Get on some wheeling trips to American Fork and you will figure out what you want and need. Right now your Jeep is more than capable of handling most everything down there. Some sliders and a rear locker will open up a lot of obstacles and remover a little bit of the fear of body damage.

When the snow melts and the trips pick up you'll find plenty of oportunity to go wheeling with people on here.

Welcome. I've never been on an RME trip that wasn't extremely friendly to new people who weren't familiar with the trails. Hit me up in a month or two and I'll take you out to some local trails.

If you do decide to join on a ride, tell them you've never done the trail before, and they'll be more than happy to teach you about it. Looks like you've got a great rig that can do a lot of the local trails.
