Never registered. When I bought this bike the previous owner claimed to have lost the title so we filled out all the documents. Turns out he never registered it either but he has a bill of sale from the owner before him and I checked the vin it's not stolen. the dmv had me mail in a bunch of crap in order for me to get a new title to register the bike in my name. I've been to the dmv 4 times and they keep giving me a new document to fill out with the previous owner and keep giving me a run around and I'm fed up and just wanna ride

Had this same issue getting a ttr street legal once. They gave me a new "requirement" each time. It's super frustrating.

The last time I got a ticket it was $40. That’s been a few years though. Take any documentation with you and any BLM office or if you run into maybe more lenient.

The ticket is $90. They are enforcing it at the Knolls according to my neighbor. They handed him 3 $90 tickets but then told him he could ride. These same neighbors got caught at the V in Centerville a week earlier and the cop told them to load up and go home.

I rode for years with my cousin who was to cheap to register his bike. We would just park away from main areas at the knolls like turn east at the railroad tracks before the pay area or go to cherry creek and ride into the dunes. Never got messed with once out riding. Just don’t park/hangout where the rangers are. Not suggesting you run either but if you don’t see them trying to stop you no point in slowing down on your long way back to the truck or trailer.

It usually works out ok if you talk honestly with the officer.

On the flip side, I’ve seen bikes get impounded for no registration...
