Noob question re: Toyota driveshafts

Not often wrong. Never quite right.

GRS tells me that they can't stretch a Toyota driveshaft because they can't get the right size tube? They want to retube it using my old joints to the tune of $200 or so.

Does that sound right?

Looks like about equal lengths of 2.5" wide on the CV end and 1.75" wide on the ujoint side going into the slip joint. It's not tapered or anything, it looks like normal tube.

Maybe my expectations are unrealistic? I was expecting to get quoted around $100.

That's awesome, Seth. Lemme get my crossover on and axle moved and I'll know better what length I need.
