Norden 901-out with old and in with the new

My KLR was my first moto, it took me up the Idaho BDR twice, half of the Utah BDR, all over hanksville/ Capitol Reef, and day trips around northern Utah, Southern Idaho, and Wyoming. I learned to check valves, change tires ( I’m on my 5th rear tire), and how I like my bike set up. It’s been a fun ride…but it’s time for an upgrade. My plans for this upcoming season are the Wyoming BDR and generally get out more. Now that I have 6 gears and cruise I’d like to do some trips farther away from home.

With those two pictures side by side it's incredible how similar those two bikes look.
Even though they're so very different in specs.
That new Norden is very exciting! I'm sure you'll love it! I can't wait to hear how you like the power and suspension!

I imagine you’re going to really love the 60% more power after putting in the miles on a KLR.

I love the looks of the Norden. When I got my 890 Adv R the Norden was basically the normal 890 Adventure and that's why I chose the one I got. A quick mod you need to do is a kickstand sensor relocator. Three of my buddies have all been stranded and its not a two wire setup like most bikes where you can just rip the sensor off and twist the wires together. You will like the taller windscreen. It looks like a GIVI but I can't tell for sure. I got the extendable GIVI and love it.
