?(NOT FOR SALE ) 40 inch goodyear mtr rockspiders..

i have 3 old style mtrs that have NOT FOR SALE on the side wall

i have 1 that is a year older and it doesn't say this.


they don't say FOR RACING ONLY though


does this just mean they were maybe given to a sponsored driver ?
but if that was the case shouldn't they be the sticky FOR RACING ONLY tires?

maybe a Demo or display tire?











anyone else have goodyears like this?

I'm guessing early prototypes of the rockspiders. Goodyear was the last major tire company to come out with stickies.

I have 1 rock spider that does not say NOT FOR SALE that according to DOT # is 1 year older
