Novak Adapters

Anyone have any input on these adapters? I have always ran AA and have enjoyed their quality. The Novak adapter for the SM420 to Dana 300 is 2" shorter than the AA one. Novak does require the input shaft to be replace, but I like that over a stub shaft.

Anyone run/ran one of these? What was your thought on the quality of the adapter?

Yup, I run one (TH700r4 to Dana 300) and it is a great piece of work. I see no reason to bother with the 'other guys'. Novak's are made here in Utah, you get superior customer service by people who know what the hell they are talking about, their prices are lower, and in your case, a shorter adapter= a good thing. Go for it!

I've run a T-18 to Dana 20 and currently run a T-18 to Dana 300! It's that damn main shaft that makes it so expensive. But damn good piece of work. Never had a problem.

Anyone need a T-18 to model 20 kit?

I bought the d300 front 32 spline shaft from them. The shaft has been in and out 3 times trying to get it right, despite the problems Novak has been real cool about the deal, I am driving up this week to try and get the thing to work, but they are talking care of me . Has been a major PITA and I have missed a trip already, but they are really showing great customer service despite the probs.

I bought my motor mounts from them (vortec in YJ) and they are stout. I bought things from AA before and had to send it back since it was the wrong one. 4L60E to NP231 adapter was for a d300 and I had to mail it back and argue with them that it was the wrong one. Took them 2 weeks to mail it back. I am waiting for Novak to finish the SYE kit so I can get it from them. They even gave me a discount for walking in and picking it up since they didn't have to mail it!

Go with Novak they are awesome!
