We have now elected the most liberal member of the senate as president, and voted liberal majorities into both the senate and the house. They can do whatever they decide to do. We are all along for the ride.

Well, when it's all F'ed up in 4 or 8 years maybe we'll get rid of the rid of the ridiculous partisanship and be able to get things taken care of?

This has nothing to do with race that was uncalled for! I actually really like Obama as a presidential figure, it is his ideals and policies that really scare me.

You look at all these people in Chicago celebrating like he his a rock star, ya wonder if they have thought about how much their taxes are going to go up and how long the lines are going to be to get there welfare checks. The country is going to go farther and farther into debt, and the tax payers are going to be the ones suffuring. thats part of the point. we dont know whats going to happen in the next 4 years. it may be good, it may be bad. we are all a little disapointed now but we may be praising him in 4 years. i doubt it, but only time will tell.

Looks pretty close to me. I've seen 48% for McCain vs. 51% for Obama. Not exactly a popular vote landslide (electoral vote is another story, though).

(my biggest problems with his comments were the racial overtones in his post---WAY out of line, IMHO)

No, I like that he is well spoken and has the ability to create excitement. I just wish he was experienced and had proper ideals and policies.
