Oil change places for diesel?

Looking for a place to get my oil changed for my deezul. Not interested in doing it myself. Yes, I know how to do it, done it many times, kind of done with it, especially when it's freakin' cold outside.

Used Draper Jiffy-lube for years, specified Delo. Then after I had G&R Diesel install a new turbo and ported shroud (money well spent) I've been having them do the oil changes with Kendall Premium Synthetic Blend. Problem is, you need an appointment to get an oil change and it's always several days out. It's a pain for me to get there during the day, especially if I need to drop it off.

Anyone recommend a good place in SL county? (prefer some proximity to middle/southern end of the valley).

Thanks!

I use G&R and don't ever get an appointment?? I call ahead and make sure they have time and I am in and out in under 20 min. They have been great to me through the years. Really there has only been a couple times in 4 years that they couldn't get me in and out so I just called later in the week and they still had me in and out.

Wow, that has NOT been my experience over the last 3 years. It's like they are doing me a favor.

I appreciate that they do good work and are busy, but they really don't act like they want my business when I call to see if I can bring it down. And I nearly always have to drop it off, which then inconveniences someone else twice, not to mention it's during the day, so I'm not available at work. I tried to get it done the week prior to Jeep Safari, and they literally could not fit me in until the following week. Screw that. I know how hard I have to work to keep my clients happy, and I expect vendors to do the same thing.

Like I said, they do good work, they do it fast, and they have treated me fairly and caught things that weren't broken and saved me money. I trust them to do it right. I highly recommend them to work on a diesel. For those reasons I'd like to continue using them, I'm just not sure about how much I want to pay for the total cost (money/time/effort) to get my oil changed there.

Maybe I need to name drop...or have you call. :D

I'm not sure what they keep in house, I always bring in my own Amsoil. Here is their number if you want to check them out 1 (801) 467-7455.
G&R diesel is without a doubt the WORST shop my truck has ever seen and I certainly wouldn't never recommend them

So what is the problem? Sounds like they take good care of you. I understand it can be a pain to drop off the truck. Would you rather have a experinced tech service your truck or a lube junkie. I know what i would pick.

The problem is the pain to drop it off, pure and simple. They can't get me in today, and I'll be out of town for the next couple days and I have a run this weekend.

Come by my work, Mobil 1. 7000 s 1300 w. West Jordan.

What do you have for diesel?

I cant understand why you dont do it yourself. My 6.0 Powerstroke is easier than changing the oil in my lawn mower. Truck is high enough to just slide a 5 gal bucket under it and pull the plug. What kind of truck is it?
