OME suspension kits for 08 Tacoma

In an effort to not muck up RTR's build thread I need to ask some questions. Hopefully Kurt will chime in with infinite wisdom.

Looking to put the kit on my 08 Tacoma TRD DCAB LB.
It looks like the light kit is designed aroung people not adding extra armor.

If I have had the rear spring TSB done what does it effect on the kit?

What size of tire can you clear with minimal trimming?

Thanks Guys

The rear spring TSB will have zero effect after the OME kit is installed as it 100% replaced the entire rear leaf spring packs and the rear shocks.

OME Suspensions come in 3 front varieties and 2 rear. All are 2.5-3" however they range in spring rate to accommodate accessories. So if you have a bone stock truck, no accessories like winches, bumpers, etc you would go with the 2.5" light front coils. Bumper, go with the 2.5" medium. Bumper & winch go with the 2.5" heavy. Likewise on the rear, stock or lighter loads would get the medium rear leaf and heavy loads would get the heavy rear leaf spring (which is the medium + 1 additional leaf)

I work and recommend suspensions on a one-by-one basis, ie when the customer calls I spend 10-15 minutes chatting about their current uses for the truck as well as their future uses and from there recommend a suspension setup that will match their needs. Its not uncommon to have a heavy front, medium rear or a light front and a heavy rear as these trucks get built in many different fashions.
