Open spot for Kane Creek on Friday

One of my buddies cancelled on the Safari so I have an opening for Kane Creek running with the Red Rock 4 wheelers on Friday if anyone is interested. Only one spot though. If you want to come give me a call

They don't accept substitutions, I tried last year. But the trail leader said they can't stop anyone from following the group, so my friends just tagged along as we ran Hell's Revenge.

They have gotten really strick with no subs on the trail. They said it is because it cheats the people that did not get the trail they wanted in the lottery for trails.

Can't wait to see how your ride goes. We ran it a few weeks ago and there is a nasty wash out about 4 miles into it. post pics when you get back

My dad and i led the trail on Wed. And Thursday. the washout area was not bad at all, the BLM came in and took dirt out of the side hill so it was pretty flat. there was another washout area farther down right before you drop into the river bottom. They made a bypass that goes up over the hill and gets a little nasty.

My first time running this trail was the Wed. I led it. I loved the trail, I have to admitt that the first half of the trail was a bore, but after that it got real fun. The climb out of th canyon is very dificult to get everyone out of. PLus how can you go wrong when it is 80* outside and the trail has 59 water crossings.

They would have let me make the substitution. When I picked up my stuff I told them that my buddy couldnt make it and instead of money back I was going to have my wife drive my other truck and the lady just told me to make sure I tell the trail leader when we got there. Oh well. Had fun but didnt get many pics. When I have a couple minutes I will post what I have.
