I got my orbital valve this last week and i really need to find the splined piece that slides into the orbital valve. I found the column on PSC website but its 50 bucks and its a whole assembly with bearings and what not. I just need the short splined piece that I can weld on the end of my current steering column. Anybody know where I can source one of these??? I am gonna be pissed if i buy the psc piece just to cut the splines off the end........

Thanks guys.

i looked for one for a few days, then caved in and bought the trail gear one
its about the same price as the psc one except its splined on the other end to fit the yota steering shaft

Come on guys... Count your splines and check out speedway/Summit/Jeggs... Buy a blank and weld on a joint from a donor...

I think he needs this piece...(the top pic on the page) http://www.rockstomper.com/catalog/steering/hydroacc.htm

It has male splines under the bolt-on flange (you cannot see them in this pic...) that fit into the steering valve, and then you can use the coupler like you have listed.

There is not a good way that I can think of to do this without the bolt flange and bearing assembly... without it there is no way to retain the splines in the valve. These "columns" or couplers are the way everyone attaches linkage to the steering valve. Don't cheap-out on your steering... it's not worth the risk.

*EDIT* this may be a better link for the "column" that you need... https://www.4wdfactory.com/store/products.php?product=Trail%2dGear-Orbital-Valve-Steering-Columns
