Overdue Registration

I feel like there was another thread on here about this but I thought I’d ask anyways.

So my Jeep is finally running after a year or so and registration, that’s a year overdue, is now needed. My problem that I’m encountering is that I have to many yearly payments in November already and I want to change the month my registration is due for the Jeep.

Since it’s already overdue, if I just wait a couple more months to register it, will the registration month change? Or will it still revert to a November registration?

I believe that you can have the DMV set it to whatever month you want if you ask. My Jeep started in may. Then went to October when it went over due and they let me change the month. Then back to may when I had it down for 18 months to cut it up.

I just re-registered my trailer (which expired in June, but I forgot)....and now it's good through November 2021.

I made the mistake of registering my motor home in January and there is no way I am getting it out for emission testing in January. I wanted to change it but I was told that it is based on the month that you applied for title and couldn't be changed. I don't know if that is the law or the clerk's interpretation of the law.

My buggy is registered if February but I never do it then because it's just sitting in the garage. Its normally March or April, but it's still due if Feb every year. They dont seem to care

I was told if you go past 6 months from the due date you get a new month sticker when you register

If you go more than 3 years, you only have to pay for two.
