I looked at those pictures a couple days ago--wow, talk about a cluster. Wow.

The Atomic axles are aptly named, since they have Currie Hi9's at both ends behind what looks like a built-up V8. ;)

aren't those the axles that run like 6 u joints?

nice:ugh:

HATERS!!

A lot of money in paint right there. Those axles would be pretty slick under something lighter.

With the differential where it is, I'm not sure you'd want a high-pinion third member in there. You could swap in a standard third and you might have something. You still have to build your rig pretty tall, or move that front axle in front of the engine.

About time something materialized from them, I think I posted something on here about those axles a few years ago when all that existed were some 3D mockups.

website wouldn't load in my Firefox 2.0....I had to open up that other pile of sh!t browser to hear the uber-crappy music.

It loaded fine in Firefox 2.0 for me. Crappy music and all. They sure did go to a lot of trouble to build a photo album with no information. :ugh:

I remember when they first came out and the POR guys sound them at some little auto show. They were pretty hack, and I think the conclusion was it was a novel concept but the strength was severely limited by the mulitple ujoint design.

i am not judging but if you wheel with something nice you tend to wheel a little cleaner, not just throttle, smoke and rubber chunks flying. ;)

I'm not judging either but if you wheel "clean" it tends to be nerve racking having to worry about scratches and not very much fun. ;)
