I need to hook up my parking brake cables up. I also need to know how to shroten the cables and put a new end on them if anybody knows how to do this.
Here is a picture of what I have. I have some ideas that I will try to explain but wanted to see if there are other ideas/experineces with this.

put disc brakes on the 14 bolt and then put the e-brake setup on the output of the t-case. I think AllPro makes a kit for toyota's.

That linkage would work just fine. I bet you could get away with the link being 4-5" long. The pull on the e-brake cable shouldn't need to be more than an inch to engage the brake. If it is, you need to adjust your brake shoes.

I wondered if anyone would ever reply to this. Thanks for the info. I have done a disc swap on my previous 14 bolt. The allpro kit is more $$ than I wanna throw at it.

I am having parking brake troubles as well, my Mitsubishi pickup has a similar setup to a Toyota pickup and I have recently added a JK RUbicon axle in the rear. Because the JK has disc brakes it has a different setup than my stock axle did.

I have given up fighting it and no it is Mount Logan Offroads problem, but I am sure it wont be a big deal for them.
