Years back, when my ex and I lived in the city, every time it snowed she would intently watch the news to see what side of the street parking was on. They would say odd side, and she would duly move her car to the odd side. Same thing for even side.
One evening, as she was eagerly awaiting parking instructions, I just had to ask her "For a new twist on this, how about you just leave the car in the driveway"?
