so there we are, suv and myself, driving out to western Utah... we pass 5 Mile and just keep on goin. we see a dirt road and turn off the highway. we wheel our way through the rough roads in the Taco. when the road ends we stop to take a look around... well, what else do you do when the road ends? no not make a new one......... you load up the rifles and go shoot some bunnies!
we looped around some little hills for afew hours seeing a good number of rabbits. we got close alot of times but hadn't dropped anything. so as we come down and around the last of the hills, heading to the truck for some grub..... Cody spots a bunny haulin away from us... i think he got off maybe 2-3 shots with his Mini 30. from where i was i could see the bunny go down and start flopping all crazy, though it was out of Cody's view at this point... then it gets up and starts bookin it with it's left hind leg just flailin around, so i got off i think 2 shots with my .22... then it wasn't seen after that. upon arrival to it's last spotted area, Cody sees it and i attempted to put it out with two shots..... "No, back up....." he says... the Mini 30 more than took care of the bunny... "sweet, time to eat!"
good times.... i must say it was some seriously beautiful team work... next time i will get a rabbit on my own though ...
then we wheeled out all hardcore stylee in the Taco..... over to some hill with junk everywhere and blasted it with an array of firepower..... then wheeled somemore when we went baja style back to the pavement..... abit of wheeling and killing..... woohoo!
