Patch for fuel cell

I have a small hole in my RCI fuel tank from summit racing. It is on the side of the tank about half way up. I dont want to fill it only half as I paid for 16 gallons and that what I want.

I am wondering if there is an easy way to patch the hole without replacing it or draining all the gas. ANYBODY?

How about putting a bolt with a washer and gasket material through the existing hole and a nut on the inside.
Simple but it works.

Ditto. When I built my new tank, I had a small leak at a weld'in bung. I JBwelded it, and it hasn't leaked a drop for over 3 years.

JB weld will work on plastic? I thought it was only for metals. Is there a sertain type or is it all the same?

there is a plasicweld it's a 2 part epoxy and rated for fuel ->however you'll have to drain the gas past the hole and spread liberally. an alternative is to use a soldering iron and a zip tie and tig weld it
