Anyone have good info. about the pickle trail? I've heard is pretty short, and I'm trying to find a good trail in that area that we could run in conjunction with the pickle trail. Has anyone got any suggestions? The tougher the trail the better. Thanks in advance!

I haven't been there but there is a trail called Hangman somewhere by the Pickle trail you can run with it. I saw it on a video and you have to winch to get up the start. Maybe someone can point you towards it or I think the video had GPS coordinates.

Closed years ago from what I've heard. When the Rick Russel video was made that area was still open to cross-country travel.

I appreciate the info. It looks pretty short. Any idea how long it takes to run that part of the trail?

It is a very short trail. It's 4 obstacles scattered over a quarter of a mile that can be raged through or savored, like a fine wine. ;) As far as other trails out there, we normally come out through Hidden Canyon just because the sand is really fun to drive through.
