I've never played, and have been curious why it's so popular all of a sudden. So I'd be game.
I straight up, got demolished by a couple in their 60s Sunday. My 70 yr old mom and her husband love to play. Maybe you can get with them for a match??
I've never understood the appeal. Just play tennis. Better exercise, more exciting, the girls are younger, hotter, and wear shorter skirts.
The handful of times I've tried pickleball over the years I just haven't found it appealing. Everything is personal preference, so your results may vary.Try it and you’ll get it. Plus you’re wrong on most accounts. Sure older people play but so do tons of young people. The learning curve is much shorter than tennis. It’s a really fun game, still great exercise and honestly everyone I’ve met playing has just been good people. It’s a very diverse crowd. I played 4 hours last Sunday and played with people from early 20’s to 60’s , from 5’ tall girls to 7’ tall black dudes that looked liked they belonged in the nba. Everyone was having a riot
No. Your opinion is wrong. The handful of times I've tried pickleball over the years I just haven't found it appealing. Everything is personal preference, so your results may vary.
I get told that a lot, yet some how I'm still always right.No. Your opinion is wrong.
Did you tell your young men @jeeper said this is an old person sport? Why are they showing interest?I'll just add that I haven't played but the young men I work with have been trying to get it on our activity schedule for a while. From what I understand a lot of the church houses have nets and gear to play. I know our building does.
I haven't played, but I think it looks fun-ish. I think of it more like hero-sized ping pong. It's kind of small court tennis. Even folks with bad knees can sort of do the pickleball thing.
