Where do you peeps host your pictures? I have a ton of HITR pictures, and all are way to big to upload. Just wondering where people host, I've never really had a need to post a large amount of pictures, usually just resize the one or two I post.

I use picasawebs. You sign in with your google account, and it isn't blocked on most work computers.

I used to use photobucket, and it works well, but I definitely prefer picasa.

Dropbox (has a public & gallery folder), minus, imgur for temporary image hosting, or re-size and attach them here directly on RME! We don't have space limits on images. :)

Whats the max size you can post? it just kept telling me image is to large, but not what size was acceptable, I looked in the FAQ but couldn't find anything, but then again i'm terrible at searching

Currently it's set at 250KB per image. If your images are under that size limit they will attach. If they are too large dimensionally the software should resize it for you. At least I think it does... :D

So there is no dimension max? just actual file size?

I just attached a 668 KB file, after I shrunk the pixels about half

If you are using windows, check out this handy util - http://imageresizer.codeplex.com/
I use this for quickly resizing photos to post. You select the images you want, right-click and hit "re-size pictures". It will then give you the option of different dimensions and whether or not to make copies (leave originals) or re-size the originals.

Hope this helps.

The easiest and quickest place to host pictures (if you don't care about compiling everything you upload into a album) is tinypic.com

In that case, if you want to resize just one pic, use Preview. If you want to resize a whole batch of them, it's super easy to build an Automator workflow to do it. Or, if you use iPhoto, just export them from your album and choose a smaller size (I usually use medium).
