pile-up on 2-15 this morning

Anyone else get stuck in that mess? 2-15 Eastbound around 1300 west. It was about a half mile of carnage. Cars everywhere, pointing all directions, on both sides of the freeway. There had to be 20 cars involved in that mess.

I passed it when there was only a couple left. Traffic was backed up to about 106th. (Got to love the car pool lane )

I was stuck in it at about 8:00 this morning.

There was a big something on I15 southbound about 8 am also. Looked like it was about Warm Springs Road area (I bailed and got off at Beck Street).

Same time I was in it. Some jackass flew by me on the shoulder doing about 60. I was 20 minutes late for my dentist appointment. Unfortunately they still took me...

Luckly, I notice it before I got onto the freeway. I saw six other accidents on my way to work. You would have thaught it was snowing or something.

I think it was black ice. I noticed a few slippery spots that I didn't think would be slippery.

Did you hear about the one last night in Parley's? That was bad! This 17 year old girl was sailing down the canyon in a SUV. She lost control, crossed over to he other lanes and took the roof completely off a sedan killing the driver of the car, then hit a pickup killing a 3 year old girl. The girl's mother is in critical condition. My daughter was coming down the canyon just after that and saw the mess. It was pretty disturbing.

Then later this night a young guy rammed into a slow moving semi and was killed.

Not a good day in Parleys.

Thats why I'm glad I don't go to work until noon
