I'll second the opinion that PET is best explored as an overnighter or multiple days and with some beta about the places to see along the route.

I don't have IFS . Solid axle ZJ and I go faster

This thread actually reminds me of the day IM1RU, Maxterra and Blind_Io invited me on a little mud-laden drive around the GSL...literally!
Great run, but my back and butt hurt from driving so much!

That's a great trip. I've done it several times, though not for a few years now. I find it best to drive fast and hard on the long open stretches to maximize play time at stopping points.
