Poser Shots...

Whats wrong with poser shots if they are on the trail? People say that a shot is crap if it is setup (Poser) to show the rigs capabilities. I disagree because on the trail, there is usually no way to get the good ligting, proper angle, best side, ext. Look at the fang on constrictor. SOB of a spring stretcher, but you cannot get the shot cuz the trail is so tight. Plus with people in the shot, it screws up that pic for things like tech articals, magaziens, or my calendar.
Whats peoples thoughts on this? We have a wide variety of wheelers here this could be inlightning

oh wait, I didn't read the post. If you purposefully set them up for a picture, then that is laim. If you just happen to be in a really cool position and a camera is there, thats ok.

AINT A DAMN THING WRONG WITH POSING!!!

pose all the hell you want. Just don't go wheeling for the sole purpose of posing. I do a lot of stuff for a cool photo. Photos are the only way for us to share the joy of wheeling with our cohorts.

POSE IT UP!!


I have no problem with posing...I do have a proble with people that are afraid of scratching or dirtying an offroad rig!!

Let me tell you why I like the pose. I go out, twist it up, take some shots, check out how it works, come home, down load the pics and study them.

posing has led me to cutting off most my sheet metal interferring with my tires. it tells me where and how much to cut. posing is cool. posing it good. posers are not cool. people who don't get their rigs dirty are not cool. how's a jeep supposed to know the joys of being clean if it's never dirty? girls are sweet; thanks to meat; i'm still awesome.

You sponcered the calenendar last year...so who's clown nose is brighter? See and with shwaney (river) poering the cruiser, he may get a decent month this year. Then it's not all skye all the time

Who voted that posing is laim?

I love to watch video, and see pics of my junk trail runnin. Then I go, "that was a stupid line, shoulda gone here instead" PIcs are just that pics. But great to show co-workers and freinds with who aren't going to watch video.

Posing on a trail is cool... Posing in a parking lot is lame.

here's my lame story.

At Alta high school... When I first had my jeep i see a huge snow bank that the plows had paved... No parking spots anywhere except for this snowbank, so I figure hey I got 4 wheel drive and an average jeep... I can make it! So I park on top of it and make my Jeep look all pimp with the axles all x'ed up! Didn't have a camera, sorry, but I got tons of compliments, everyone was like whoa dude that looks sweet!

Lunch comes around... Sun came out started melting the snow... After school I go to my jeep to leave when all of a sudden it's icy and the snow altered... Problem... I'm stuck! In a parking lot! Embarrassing or what? I had to have a stock jeep pull me out! HA HA! don't pose in a parking lot, cuz I learned the hard way!

here is a cool trail pic of my buddie's TJ on Poision Spider when he mysteriously popped up his front tire and got some mad flex... I'm standing under his jeep.

That's one of those high flexin Exploder lifts that someone could have saved alot of money on.....

The only thing better is one of those bolt on exploder coil kits---YAH BUDDY............

Posing...Hmmmmm................

Well to this point my rig isn't ready for the trail so the only option I currently have is to drive over to the official "test Ditch" and take pics and study them. I know, they look gay to some but to finally get to this point I don't care if you think it's gay or not. I am just happy to be making progress!! Pose away, It is the best way to truly test your rig!!!

You may not think that is sick flex, but you should see my Jeep man... My front axle has the sway bars disconnected and track bar disconnected and I can't even get as much flex as he is getting in that shot... He has his track bar still connected.

Also you have a complete custom suspension right? If not then disregard this paragraph... His is just a stupid bolt on kit and his Jeep wheels really well for having bolt on stuff... To me, that is a good shot and has some awesome flex... Im more proud of his flex than mine... here is a flex shot of my jeep and it does pretty crappy, this is on Fins and Things.

So a picture could look cool to me, but look gay to you... Be careful who you dis cuz you never know who's gonna be your customer or not! (empty threat! )

thanks poki. I didnt get very good shots there. Just some prity good vid of Marks backside and a lady in the backgound saying tell him to stop! So my wife, owner of the rubie and my personal photographer was freeking so no real good poser shots were taken there
