So is RME going to be sponsoring the dumpster again this year? Haven't seen anything about this yet this year....

What reminded me is that Blacksheep isn't going to be able to make it this year and So thought about show is going to step up this year and try to fill his big shoe?

If I was down there all week I would attempt too.... but I'm only there the first weekend....

So whats the plan?

I just starting to make the first phone calls to get it coordinated. I start with the BLM to make sure we are using our resources where it helps the most. And they usually have the tie-ins with the sherrifs office, RR4W and the other groups to make sure we are not duplicating efforts. Watch for more infomation to come soon.

I figured it would be closed this year.Glad it will be open.

I talked to the BLM about that topic today. It will be open. The last just at the top of the hill has been purchased, and the are planning condos to go there. Apperently that area has been annexed into the city so they can tie into city water, sewer, etc. So there maybe a day where the hill can't be used any more.

The other threatening part is that there was an "option to buy" additional land that is the access road into PSH. Not sure what happens to access to the property if the road is ownded and can be developed, but if the top of the hill is deveoped anyways it won't really matter. :-\

The cool thing about that is my nephew was actually excited to get up and help out. It was important for me to get into his head the value of giving back. Sometimes, all you got to do is give a kid a little direction and he'll run with it.

I'm glad she's using that photo. In 2008, I rented a Jeep. At least my rig is showing in that one from 2007.

The other thing Sara told me was that she had never even considered riding in an off-road rig. Although it wasn't much of a wheelin trip, She rode up (around the road) with me one morning as we were hauling the trash bags from the bottom back up to the top. She is a really cool person and just wants people to be smart about caring for the world.

Hey rusted, I am going to be writing an article about the clean up for the next issue of the compass that will be sent out before EJS in an effort to get more volunteers.

If you can please email me some pics, details, times, info, brief history, that would be great.

I'll be doing the U4 booth during the Vendor show, but I'll be available to help with the dumpster for RME the other days.
