Today we ran Steel Bender backwards - bad mistake, for one, there were two or three vendor runs going on at the same time so we got to sit and wait for them to pass a long time (40+ rigs I bet)... But anyway, afterwards we went over to PSH to watch the carnage. There were some asshats with a Geo Metro just blatently destroying it on the hill. At first it was funnier the hell watching them crashing down it doing 20 mph. My hope is they did not leave the car there.

If anyone knows anything about this, post up because I'd like to know if they cleaned up their mess before leaving. I'd really hate to know they left it.... There were a lot of people yelling at the kids when we left about not leaving it and picking up the mess....

Reminds me of a time about 6 years ago when a local kid had a Honda on Dump Bump. Drove down it, got winched up it, beat the crap out of it, then egged some other drunk kids to drive over it. It was funny at first but headed downhill quick. He sobered up a bit, then was mad that it was wrecked. What a dumba$$. It had to be towed away on a wrecker.

Someone should go spray paint Eco-nazi type words/phrases on it... leave alot of hemp in the back seat with a mismatched pair of berkenstalks or something... that way it points the finger elsewhere..

Kind of how I feel as well. I had avoided it for years and then went the past two years. I can't say that I am sorry that I'll be missing out on it. Too much in too small an area. Plus all the idiots coming in from all over the US. Just too much "stupid," as demonstrated by this car.

Oh well, I'll enjoy the Swell instead.

Well, it was still there this morning when ryan and I showed up to help cleanup. There was glass and oil coating the hill, there was a big oil spot down at the bottom and the car had been towed off to the side. It was a big mess - there were car parts all over the place. It looked like they had driven over it as well with the roof smashed in. I'm going to assume it is still there as I write this, but I can't be sure. Sara and David from Moab solutions were there, and were definately not impressed.
