ok, my power steering box is really stiff when going straight down the road and when I turn the wheel won't just come back to center you have to turn it back. I have never been int5o a power box and I know there are several little balls in there. Is it worth tearing it apart and cleaning it? Does it sond like something is worn out and I would be waisting my time....?

Input??

I have like 3 boxes but they are all the wrong side or turn the wrong way,.... :(

Really, the biggest problem is that the steering wheel won't return to center after a corner is made. You have to manualy bring it back... that sux.. I have looked over everything and I just don't see a visual problem in my design.

Is it tight in the center but feels ok when turned? Is it adjusted too tight?

Checked your caster angle? Might have to roll your pinion down a degree or two (that helps em self-center).

Well I pulled the box... man, it was hard to turn.... I have another one that is an AGR (thanks Kurt) but I need to have a 13/16" 36 spline yoke for it... guess I 'll call 6 states in the mornin.
