Power steering

Can you tell me what power steering boxes would work in my CJ? will any jeep (wrangler, TJ, Trucks, ect.) box work in it? Can you make a recommendation for what I should use?

I put a TJ box on my CJ. I had to get the manual steering coupler but it bolted right up. Most of the jeep trucks, wagoneers, etc will need the coupler to work. One thing I noticed was the Cherokees only have 3 tabs to bolt to instead of 4 so be aware of that when you are looking.
I recommend the TJ box because it has 4 tabs and isn't 20 years old.

I have an old school camero power steering box. It is old but works well it turns my 38s and a spool with no problems.

My CJ has a 350 in it though I don't know if that will make a difference not really I guess. By the way I have an extra power steering pump I was going to put opn ebay, but maybe I won't. :greg:

what did the pump come off? brackets?

Came offn a chev truk (best hick accent). I thinkk I have some brackets I have a pile of various brackets, but not sure what they are all for.
