powerjoke oil cooler leak

The oil cooler on my 2002 7.3 is leaking...o-rings I think. I called G&R and Wide Open (based on recommendations from this board). G&R seemed to know about it, and the questions (upper? lower?) from Wide Open were making me uneasy.

Any other shops recommended?

Thanks,
Brett

I took my truck to Nelson Diesel on Redwood and 16thish South (just down from me--Davis County) and had a reasonable experience. I got good work for a fair price. Can't ask for any more than that.

Could take it to the dealer. I know the D word is sometimes thought of as a last resort for one reason or another. But the fact is that we work on Fords all day every day. Nobody knows your Power stroke better then we do. The other "diesel" shops usually work on everything and sometimes don't have first hand knowledge of some common problems. The oil coolers do leak and are a relatively minor repair but does require some skill. If your in the area you can bring it to Henry Day Ford. I would be happy to take a look at it for you.
