I've got a handful of maps I would like to print, 3500 x 2500, 4500 x 3500, 7000 x 4500, 13500 x 7500 type maps, mostly black and white. Anyone have a suggestion?? They are digitized in .jpg, dwg and gif files. Of course I'm willing to pay, I just don't have a ton of money for the project and want to find a reasonable and quality source. TIA!

Don't know how big your planning but I got a poster done from costco that was reasonably priced and pretty large.

can you scale those reso down to fit them comfortably on a smaller sheet?

These are maps with extremely fine detail in some cases, though minimal ink as they are mine working maps. I want them as big as the originals ;) I can shrink them and print them on a 5" x 7" if I wanted.

Tacoma, if I email you a list of the sizes (in pixel x pixel format) of the .jpg maps, can you get me some prices??? There are ~15 maps of which I want 3-5 copies of each. Also I need to make sure I'm dealing with legit place familiar with non-disclosure agreements.

I would definently go to Costco! best deals for that size. Ask them if they can print several on one sheet and you can cut them yourself. Might save you some $$.

Cool, I might finally use my Costco card :D

Everytime I have ever been has been with Candace, I've never even had mine out of my wallet. I'll report back on Costco after I stop by tomorrow.

Call Monsen Engineering 531-6505 when I used to work there I could print up to 60" wide in color or b/w. I used to plot on 20+ different materials. Talk to Kandis there and tell her Joe recomended them.

Yeah, send em over. And we are comfortable with non-disclosure, we do a lot of work for the city, the Army, Envirocare, etc. None of it can be leaked. :D

Ya, have Rastar make you map wallpaper! They've got the big guns down there.

I was trying to help you make some coin!

Kurt, PM me and I'll get you my email. Send one over and I'll get some numbers.
I might be able to swing a deal.

Cody works for a printer. Give him a call.
I do also and can ask around. We can print it billboard size if you want. :)
 When I first saw this thread I was going to offer to print it...then I remembered I'm no longer at Rastar (Rastar is still Rastar, right?) :D

woah, sounds like something is in the mix......

I have a big plotter here that can do prints, but I don't have any price structure for it. We just use it for color proofing and the occasional one off poster for some of our procurement customers. I think it's a 48"
