Pritchett Canyon - Oct 17 2009

We met up with Dirtsqrl, SurgeryTurtle & her husband Gary, Kiel & Kory, Seth, Justin (jpest) & Jenn to hit good old Pritchett for Saturday. Another awesome morning and a cloudless sky... we knew it was going to be a good day.

First climbs about midway between the start of the trail & Chewy

We quickly caught up with a group at Chewy so we got out to wait and spectate. Unfortunately one of them lost a drive-line at the bottom of Chewy but they were nice enough to let us pass by.

Rocker knocker.

We caught up to another group of probably 15 vehicles. We decided to eat lunch and wait for that group to make their way through. As we were waiting, another group caught up behind us as well. When it was our turn through rocker knocker, we all pretty much flew through it taking the good old sideways & slide line. We were through there pretty quick.

Once we got to the other side we knew it was going to be an hour or two before we made it to the top with the amount of people ahead of us... so we made the best of it and waited it out. We were determined to reach the top today.

Everybody in our group when right up the rock pile which was awesome! We flew through that section once it opened up.

The MFFW group took advantage of the open trail and flew out through BHTR & onto the county road to get back in time to work on Melissa's rig. Her rig (redroxx) was getting 40's that night.

So here's to the top of Pritchett.

Very nice report! I had to look twice at photos of my rig going up Rock Pile. Gary's Samurai and my Jeep look so much alike. His are the last two in the shot though! The spare tire position tells the tale!
