Your wish is my command. But I probably won't start installing it until this winter.

On a side note. All the transmission linkage and transfercase linkage is adjusted. Damn it works nice finally.

Can anyone tell me why it would be really hard to shift an NP241 from 4 high to Neutral and 4 Low?

Going between 4 High and 2wd is easy as pie.

Turbo Conversion is underway. My only issue is seeing if it will clear stuff under the hood.

I think I'm going to give up on traditional power steering and go with electric power steering assist off a car. There just isn't a lot of room under the hood for a pump. I've been doing some research, and it doesn't look to hard to do. Especially since I have two batteries and a 140 amp alternator.

Anyway, the serpentine conversion is all most done. Just need a belt and to fabricate an upper bracket for my alternator.

You start by hitting your hand with a hammer everyday. Lol.

On a side note. I'm now at the Walmart pharmacy getting a tetanus shot. I stubbed my big toe on the turbo drain tube and my wife, mother and mother-in-law think I'm going to die the tetanus. Lol

I turned it into a smiley face though. Lol.

Did you even get to test it off-road before the teardown ?

I also got a shot before working on my rusty, rat rod.
Lots of rusty nails, ect.

Serpentine belt drive is done.

I deleted the power steering pump because there wasn't any room. I may mount it where the air conditioner compressor would go, or go with electric power steering. We shall see.

I just need to hook up my coolant hoses again and then the wiring to the alternator.

After another broken starter bolt and broken helicoil I finally got pissed off enough to fix the issue permanently.

I drilled the hole out and then tapped it for a 14 mm bolt. Stock is 10mm. This shall not snap again. Started right up and didn't make an weird noises like it used to. Now I just need to fix a couple new leaks.

I'm a little tired of it right now. I just want to take it to Moab. Maybe if everything holds together for awhile, I'll take it down the first week of October.

I put some stop leak in the oil. I'm hoping it'll hold it for a while. Ive been driving it today. Maybe I'll work up the courage to go up Farmington canyon with it this weekend.

Nice thing is, its so fuel efficient, I haven't put any fuel in it since July, but it has been broken for about 3 weeks. LOL.

Pictures. Isn't that perdy

Looks like the engine has been rebuilt at some time. There are marks on all the rod ends (numbers/letters). So that is good news for me.

I just need to do a few more things before we go down next week.
