ProSource drill

My son found a ProSource cordless drill and a Makita charger in a car at the junk yard and bought them. The charger needed a power cord fix which I have done but the drill's battery is dead and the charger doesn't work for it. I have looked all over to find out info on the drill but it doesn't even have a model number on it. Is PowerSource a Harbor Freight tool ? The drill works so it would be nice to find a charger that would work.

There's an outfit in SLC that rebuilds batteries. I had then do a Makita battery 6 years ago. They open the pack and replace the cells. Takes about a week.

Maybe they can help you figure out a charger.

I've already taken the battery pack apart. It says 18V on it and has Ni-Cd cells in it (and some of those look bad). My guess is that the drill isn't worth putting too much $ into it. If I could find some cheap parts it might be worth fixing it up.
