Any locals verify that the trail to Mt Logan is open yet? I'm guessing that there could still be snow in the canyon up high and in the basin/rodeo grounds.........

we went up 2 days ago and still a lot of snow in the pines at the top! But what was way cool was the 6 foot deep rut washed down the middle of the road!

I hate to hijack, but do you happen to have a build thread or anything? I'd love to see & hear more about your rig, it looks great!

At least post up a thread in the Members Rides section, if you haven't already. :D

I was dirtbiking up there two days ago. Never made it past the upper section of the quarry--by then the newbie riders had more than enough for one day LOL

Judging by the amount of water still flowing down and yesterdays snow I'm going to say the summit is probably still out of reach :-\

It's been another week, and I was curious if there were any updates? I've never been up it, and will be around next weekend. There were a few of us that were interested in running it.

Thanks

Went up it last night. Had to winch a couple times through snow. Made it close to the rodeo grounds. The snow was just to deep and it was getting late.

I would guess about a mile from the top. If I was in town this weekend I'd tag along. Is their anything in poky or IF to go wheeling. I have heard a little about hells half acre. Looking to get out and do some more exploring.

I will be camping and hiking in the morning I may be able to give you some directions if you want. There are lots of good spots.

We are going to find a weekend in July and head up that way. I grew up in Rupert. All there is to do in Rupert is to go play down some farmers pivot road:D

I made it to Mt Logan today with very little fanfare. There was snow in a few places but not bad at all. The road connecting millville canyon at the top has to much snow to be passable just yet. I tried to go down Right Hand to Logan Canyon but there was a huge tree on the road. A group of atvs chainsawed a hole through it big enough for them but to small for me. The tree was to big for me to have any luck moving it myself. All in all I had a great time getting out.
