We are headed to Garden City area but have never been before. Should I go up through logan canyon or around through evanston. Grades are my nemesis and they look pretty similar as far as climbs. Im leaning towards Logan route and taking my time. What do you guys think?

the evanston route is flatter... You will have tons of traffic going thru Logan canyon and they all will be stuck behind you...

X3 via Evanston.
I've had a cabin there for years and its a easier drive through WY. The worst pull is Parleys going up. Top off in Evanston since its $.10 - .20 cheaper than SLC most all the time. The last canyon in to bear lake has a sharp turn you'll need to slow up for on the way down into Laketown other than that is an easy drive.

Another vote for the WY route. We returned a few weeks ago with the RV, we took the Logan canyon route and the grade in and out of Garden City were brutal.

Time wise I live by Skyline and its 2 - 2 1/2 hours to Garden City (154 miles) door to door. With the boat 2 1/2 - 3 hours.

Have a great trip.
