I have seen a lot of quarter elliptic rigs, and I have seen how they perform. They seem to do pretty well, but one thing confuses me. How in the world would you go about setting your ride height when setting this type of suspension up? Is it the length of the spring, is it how hi you mount the fixed end to your frame? I am going to go quarter elliptic on my rig, and I just want to learn something about setting it up before I do the old, trial by error.

I have been doing a lot of research about these b/c I am trying to get enough info to put them on my truck. I know that you can add and subtract leafs to get it to hold up better. But I havnt saw anything about the length of the leafs. One thing Im wondering about is what the best way of mounting them to the axle is? If anyone knows thanks for the help.

I think ride height is determined by the free arch in a pack. Then how many leaves will allow the rig to sag or not. Most people use a pivot of some sort to attach to the axle. Heims are usually the way they go. Tracy will chime in soon. He is 1/4 eliptic on the board....
