Question about guns

I am thinking of selling my 44 mag gun. It's the Smith and Wesson 29-3. It has a holster and two speed load things in a little pouch made for them. My question is what is it worth? You look online and it is anywhere from $400 to $1000. So I was helping some of the gun nuts on the forum could help me out.

it is worth about $50. bring it over and I will give you $60 to help cover the fuel

I was going to suggest you look at gunbroker.com to get an idea, but maybe you did already because I am seeing similar prices there. When I sold my similar .357 for $500 I realized I made a mistake and bought it back (thank you again FIL). If I were you I would not let it for for less than $600-$700, but it very well maybe worth more than that. Gallensons or even Cabelas maybe able to give you a better idea. I had a buddy sell to Cabelas and he felt he was treated well there. I feel that Gallensons is probably more knowledgeable.

Looking back I probably did not offer you anything you did not already know, but that is the best I have for you.

I'm no expert just someone that watches the classifieds on KSL way too much...

Rusted's prices look correct. I think most S&W model 29 are advertised around $600. Barrel length, finish, condition, etc affect price also.
