Rangely Women's Rockcrawling Competition

Last year the Rangely Rockcrawlers put a bunch of work into setting up 8 courses complete with cones and judges for the competition. It was nothing crazy and all in good fun.

Same this year. Woman drivers only, Cash give away, BBQ dinner. and lots of fun. May 8th. Sign up that morning starting at 8:00 at the Rock Crawling Park.

Rangely is a city in Colorado about 1.5 hours north of Grand Junction. Once in Rangely follow the event signs or on the west side of town turn south off of route 64 onto River Road (County rd 2)
Turn off to Rockcrawling Park: 40* 04' 49.00"N 108* 49' 39.58"W
Park: 40* 04' 3.87" N 108* 49' 18.82W These are Google Earth coordinates.

You should probably include a bit more info than "at the Rock Crawling Park". Maybe to the guys in your local area, that might make complete sense, but since you're on a Utah based board, with primarily Utah individuals it doesn't make much sense. Sounds like it will be a fun event though.

Good point. However, giving directions is difficult. That's why I included contact info.

I'll post GPS coordinates tomorrow. How would that work?

If you have not been to rangley colorado to wheel you are missing out..the town is wheeler friendly like moab was 15 years ago..we made an (ice) run into town in our buggies and the local police just smiled and waved...you can dry camp right in the middle of the park and there is good roads in between trails.so if you break its not to terrible to get a truck and trailer close to your break down.:greg: everything you want is in rangley from mild too WILD...
