Since I'm about to head to Moab for some Jeeping, I thought it might be worth investing in a trail guide. As I surf around, there are a number of them. Which one should I choose? Anybody have any recommendations for me?

x eleventythousand. And always keep it in your jeep so it's with you when you go to Moab. I've bought 3 of those books now because I used to always forget to bring it. Now it's in my truck and I always have it with me.

Thanks guys for making that so easy. I have been meaning to pick one of these up. Now it will be delivered to my door in 2 days!

It took me about 4 years to realize the way he lays the trails put on the beginning 10 pages. He lists them by area, and by difficulty from easiest to hardest. I've really been enjoying the easier trails lately.

There really is only one...

Spend the extra on the spiral bound one.

Spiral bound

x3

and x2 on spiral bound

x eleventythousand.

I have the spiral and love it!

Wow, I wasn't expecting such a resounding recommendation. Needless to say, I just placed an order for a spiral bound copy.

Thanks, gang.

I didn't see anybody mention this yet, but I really like the Charlie Wells guidebook.

Get the spiral bound one though.

Check out all the Utah trail info on traildamage.com as well in conjunction with buying/owning great Wells guidebook. Lots of info and pictures and trail reports over the years online makes it a great trail resource as well before you head out or online while you are out and about on the trail.
